Nathan Crooker, an accomplished filmmaker and screenwriter based in NYC, has had an extensive career as a film, commercial and music video director with a vision that spans all styles and genres, reflecting his wide-ranging interests. His prolific collection of work includes high profile clients such as Van Cleef & Arpels, New Balance, Nabisco, Dell, Canon, Bergdorf Goodman, RCA Records and Epic Records. His authentic, thought-provoking storytelling style and raw cinematic technique brought much success to several of his short films, including his 2015 viral- horror hit Playback that he directed, wrote and produced. Shot in one-take, Playback has been accepted to 46 film festivals globally and has garnered rave reviews from cult icon Lucky McKee, who described it as “a wicked, atmospheric nightmare,” and Blumhouse Producer, Couper Samuelson who exclaimed, “What a lovely twisted little movie!” Currently, Nathan is in development with his feature There’s Nothing Wrong with Us.
